White Night Melbourne is an exciting new major event for Melbourne, inspired by the international Nuit Blanche network.

White Night, which is the anglicisation of Nuit Blanche, was originally conceived in Paris, France in 2002, in an attempt to make art and culture accessible to large audiences, within public spaces.

In 2013, Melbourne will be the first city in Australia to join the ranks of twenty three global cities producing similar all-night events. To view the full list of cities and their dates, click here.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Melbourne as Australia’s international city of artistic innovation and celebrate the city’s commitment to art, music and culture.

White Night Melbourne will be held on Saturday 23 February 2013; and again in the last week of February of 2014 and 2015.
